Before changing the view on the sensor screen over to the planet, something odd catches your eye. It’s the damndest thing ever! The debris from the destroyed alien vessel implodes back into a central location, congealing into an amorphous black mass. Really odd. However, there’s not that much that the glob can do, so you turn your attention to the planet’s surface (005).
